Director CS Amudhan of Tamizh Padam fame is breaking away from his spoof genre for a crime thriller with Vijay Antony, and the shooting of this movie began recently with an official pooja.

Infiniti Film Ventures, which has previously produced Kodiyil Oruvan, Khaki with Vijay Antony and is bankrolling his upcoming Kolai, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan is producing this new film too. 

An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is awaited.
