Rajinikanth's Annaatthe and Silambarasan TR starrer Maanaadu have already been confirmed as Diwali releases and joining them in theaters in November, 2021 would be the Arun Vijay starrer Vaa Deal. Announced in 2012 and wrapped in 2014, Vaa Deal produced by J. Sathish Kumar is a long-delayed project and the movie's release plans were surprise announced this Sunday.

Karthika Nair plays female lead in this film which is directed by Rathina Siva and has music by Thaman. Vaa Deal could also potentially meet Vikram's Mahaan and G.V. Prakash's Bachelor at the Deepavali box-office this year.
