Actor Silambarasan TR is all set to begin shooting for Pathu Thala, his upcoming movie with director Obeli N Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame. The movie which the Tamil remake of Kannada hit Mufti (2017) will see STR in the role of a notorious gangster and the actor begins filming for the same on September 5, 2021.

Pathu Thala also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Gautham Menon in pivotal characters. The movie has A.R. Rahman for music and is produced by Studio Green.
