The title of Dhanush's upcoming movie which tentatively went by D 44 has been revealed as Thiruchitrambalam. Touted to be an entertainer, Thiruchitrambalam is directed by Mithran Jawahar and is expected to release in theatres next year.

A Sun Pictures production, the movie's cast includes Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathi Raja, Prakash Raj among others. The technical crew includes Anirudh for music, Om Prakash for cinematography and Prasanna GK for the edits.
Thiruchitrambalam was launched with an official pooja ceremony today and has commenced shooting.
