Movie theaters in Tamil Nadu have remained shut for most of this year so far and productions in Kollywood which have long awaited release have resorted to direct OTT releases as a result. At a time when even major star vehicles are not coming out in theaters, actor Arun Vijay is sticking to theatrical release plan with two of his movies.

Borrder and Sinam - both action movies starring Arun Vijay in the lead have been announced to be releasing in theaters only. The U/A censored Sinam was expected in March this year but got delayed due to the lockdown from the new wave of Coronavirus.

Borrder on the other hand was planned as a Independence day release on the big screens and as reported by us, is expected to release on August 12, 2021.
