Superstar Rajinikanth met Tamil Nadu's new Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and greeted him as a congratulatory gesture. The actor have made a donation of Rs. 50 Lakhs towards the CM Corona Relief Fund.

Speaking to the press the actor conveyed that "People should cooperate with the government to overcome the pandemic". He also urged the people to wear masks and follow the guidelines.
