Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam is a cult film PAN India thanks to its remakes in multiple languages. The director's recent release Drishyam 2 in Malayalam, is equally if not more well received.

Those who watched the movie know that there were many aspects of the story that were left untouched like (spoilers ahead) the younger daughter's school friend, the grave digger's daughter and whether or not the murdered victim's parents actually gave up targetting Mohanlal. 

While fans expected that there would be a part 3, Jeethu Joseph himself has now confirmed the same. In a recent interview, the director said,

"I dont know whether i will do Drishyam 3 but i have a beautiful climax in hand. I have already talked about this to Lalettan (Mohanlal) and he really liked it.

 

I have to work on lot of things to bring the script upto that end point. Need an idea. Don't know when this will happen."
