Actor Srikanth was last seen on the big screen in Tamil in Rocky: The Revenge, a 2019 movie about canine revenge and Srikanth is once again gearing up for the release of a movie with an animal in it. Miruga, starring the actor and Raai Laxmi  has a Tiger as a significant character is gearing up for a theatrical release on March 5, 2021.

Touted to be a thriller, Miruga has Srikanth playing a role with shades of grey and the movie is written by cinematographer Paneerselvam who worked with the actor on films like Roja Koottam and April Maadhathil. Debutant J. Parthiban has directed this movie.
