The official Tamil remake of Telugu hit film Pellichoopulu wrapped shooting back in February this year. And now after a gap, it has been announced that the title and first look of the Tamil version will be unveiled by Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda, who played lead in the original and Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, who wrote and directed the movie.  

Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar play the lead the Tamil version, which is directed by debutante Karthik Sundar. The Kollywood version has music by Vishal Chandrasekar.
