Nayanthara starrer devotional comedy Mookuthi Amman which also stars RJ Balaji in the lead is the latest Tamil movie which is expected to make for a direct OTT release. The film which is directed by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan is said to be also airing on Sun TV channel for Diwali, 2020 which falls on November 14 this year. 

Therefore it is estimated that Mookuthi Amman will make its OTT premiere before its TV airing in the month of September. OTT platforms Sun Nxt and Amazon Prime Video seem to be top contenders for bagging the digital rights of the film, which is a production venture of Ishari K Ganesh.
