Sushant Singh Rajput's Suicide Case takes an important turn!

It was on June 14 that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai residence and according to the investigators, the actor ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling using a green night gown made of cotton. The final post-mortem report of the actor too suggests that the cause of the death was 'asphyxia due to hanging'.

However, to eliminate any foul play, the Mumbai police have now sent the cloth used for hanging for chemical and forensic analysis at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in suburban Kalina. Using a tensile strength test, experts will determine whether the cloth can bear around 80 kg, the weight of the actor and they will also check the pattern of ligature marks found around the actor's neck during the time of his death.

Viscera from Sushant Singh Rajput's body has already been sent to FSL for finding out any traces of chemical, poisonous or narcotics substance while a forensic report on his mobile phone is awaited. Officials close to this highly scrutinized case have quoted in the media as saying,

"Usually, it takes eight to ten working days to get a report from the FSL in regular cases. But since this case is sensitive, experts are taking more precautions to avoid any kind of error in their analysis,"
