As reported by us a few days ago, it has now been officially confirmed that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will be playing the lead in the Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial Kaithi. Dream Warrior Pictures who are also producing the film in Hindi with Reliance Entertainment have announced the Hindi version's release date to be February 12, 2021.

An action thriller, Kaithi follows the story of a recently released convict who is trying to meet his daughter for the first time since her birth but is inadvertently caught up helping win a war between the cops and the drug lords.
