Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and Akshay Kumar's 'Bachchan Pandey' were slated for Christmas 2020 release. The 'Dangal' actor has requested Akshay Kumar and producer Sajid Nadiawala to postpone the release of 'Bachchan Pandey' to avert a clash at the Box Office. The makers have heeded to his request and announced a new release date for the film as well. Aamir Khan has thanked the team for their warm gesture on social media.

Akshay Kumar who has readily agreed to postpone his film's release took to his Twitter page to share his new look from the film also revealing the new release date. The film directed by Farhad Samji will now hit the screens on January 22, 2021.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the most-awaited comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan, produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao through Aamir Khan Productions along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The film is an official Hindi adaptation of the cult Hollywood movie, Forrest Gump which revolves around the story of an intellectually disabled man, essayed by Tom Hanks.
