Dhanush joins 100 crore club

Dhanush’s Bollywood debut film Raanjhnaa has crossed the 100 crores mark. Raanjhnaa starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles directed by Anand L Rai hit the screens on June 21. The movie had an ordinary start on the first day and went on to be a crowd puller at box office due to strong positive word of mouth.

Raanjhanaa team is celebrating its Box Office success at a grand event in Mumbai today. Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Anand L Rai will be present at the success party.

Only the 5th Tamil actor to cross 100 Crores

Dhanush becomes only the 5th actor from Tamil movie industry to have crossed 100 Crores playing a lead role. Another highlight is that Hindi critics and fans recommended watching Raanjhanaa just for Dhanush and appreciated his near-perfect Hindi diction.
