Darbar starring Rajinikantha and Nayanthara in the lead roles is directed by A.R. Murugadoss is gearing up for release worldwide on January 9, 2020. While the makers are promoting the film in full swing, the fans of the actor are leaving no stone unturned to make the film a big box office success. Fans have been celebrating the films release as 'Darbar Thiruvizha' and doing their bit at all levels to show their love for the Superstar. 

Recently the makers promoted the film by unveiling ‘Darbar Rajini’ livery on few domestic flights owned by Spice Jet, to make the film reach across the pan-Indian audience. Fans of Salem district have gone one step ahead and have decided to have a special flower shower from a helicopter on Rajinaikanth's cut-out on the day of release. The flower shower event has been planned in front of ARRS multiplex in Salem. A letter seeking approval for the same from the TN Government is going viral on social media.
