After Kerala, the distribution rights for Rajinikanth's Darbar which is expected to release on January 9, 2020 is said to have been bagged. Buzz in the industry is that the theatrical rights of Darbar in all languages have been picked up by a company called Dheeraj Enterprises for a record price of Rs. 9 Cr.
And just like Kerala, it seems like the A.R. Murugadoss directorial will have to do a huge business of Rs. 20 Cr to break-even. Produced by Lyca Productions, Darbar has Nayanthara playing female lead and Amazon Prime holds the digital rights to this film.
