Director Pa. Ranjith who bankrolled films like Pariyerum Perumal and Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu through his home banner Neelam Productions has been a successful producer. Following the success of his first two production ventures, the director will be producing 5 movies with upcoming directors.

Ranjith made the announcement at an event where he shared the details of his upcoming movies. He had said that these films will have strong ideologies with a mainstream connect. These five films will be bankrolled in association with Little Red Car and Golden Ratio Films. These films will be directed by Merku Thodarchi Malai director Lenin Bharathi, Pariyerum Perumal director Mari Selvaraj, Akiran Moses, Franklin Jacob, and Suresh Mari. 

Mari Selvaraj will begin work on Pa. Ranjith's production after wrapping Dhanush's film. Suresh Mari, who has been Ranjith's assistant will direct a film which will star Kalaiarasan and Arvind Akash.
