Sivakarthikeyan starrer Hero is one of the most-awaited films in Kollywood which is slated for December 20 release. The trailer was released recently and the film promotions are happening in full swing. The satellite and digital rights of the film have been sold. Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights while Amazon Prime has bought the digital streaming rights. 

Directed by PS Mithran, the film questions the flaws in the education system. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the leading lady while Arjun, Robot Shankar play pivotal roles. Bankrolled by KJR Studios, the film has musc by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
