Ranveer Singh is all set to play a Gujarati man in his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Actress Shalini Pandey of Telugu blockbuster hit 'Arjun Reddy' has been roped in as a the leading lady opposite Ranveer in the film. Shalini, who made a mark with her performance in Arjun Reddy, is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Jayeshbhai Jordaar. 

The film is produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner Yash Raj Films. Billed as a quirky comedy, the film is written and directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar. Markers recently released Ranveer's first look in the film. The actor seems to have lost weight for the role.
