Dhruv Vikram's long-awaited debut film Adithya Varma hit the screens worldwide on November 22. The film opened to positive reviews with Dhruv being unanimously appreciated for his performance. The remake film collected Rs. 2.3 cr on its opening day. The film has raked in Rs. 5.05 cr in 2 days and is estimated to have collected Rs. 8 cr in its opening weekend.

Adithya Varma which has grossed Rs. 98 lakhs in 3 days and has grabbed the Top spot in Chennai as well as TN Box Office. Disney's animated movie Frozen 2 bagged the second spot while Diwal releases Bigil and Kaithi have secured the third and fifth spot respectively and are still among the list of Top 5 movies even in their fifth week.
