Namma Veetu Pillai starring Siva Karthikeyan, Aishwariya Rajesh and Anu Emmanuel in the lead roles hit the screens worldwide on September 27. The family drama set in the rural milieu directed by Pandiraj has received mostly positive reviews. NVP has registered a good opening in Tamil Nadu in its opening weekend. 

The film has grossed Rs. 1.98 cr in Chennai city and has topped the Box Office in its first week.

The film is estimated to have collected Rs. 20 cr in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. The film witnessed an increase in its collections over the weekend through word of mouth.
