Akshay Kumar is definitely on a roll in Bollywood. The actor who has tasted success with his latest outing "Mission Mangal" is enjoying a golden run at the box office. His recent films, right from 2016's Airlift, have been major hits. Among Bollywood superstars, the Khiladi actor has multiple film releases in a year. He has at least three to four releases in a year. 

In 2019, two of his film's Kesari and Mission Mangal have turned to be box office successes. Two more films Good News and Housefull 4 are gearing up for release by the end of this year.  The actor has an impressive line up of movies in 2020 and has locked important festive dates for their release.

Major festival release dates are usually blocked by the Khans of Bollywood. Salman Khan owns the Eid weekend, Shah Rukh Khan headlines Diwali while Aamir Khan takes Christmas. Meanwhile, it is intriguing to see that Akshay has been seeking all the important release dates that are usually booked by the Khans.

Recently, he blocked the Eid 2020 for 'Laxmi Bomb' after Salman Khan's 'Inshallah' got shelved. Also the actor is trying to release 'Good News' for Christmas 2019 and Bachchan Pandey is set to lock horns with Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chaddha for Christmas 2020. Akshay Kumar seems to be holding his own at the Box Office when it comes to competing with the Khans of Bollywood.
