Director Gautham Menon in a recent interview has confirmed that the "discussions" for the Tamil remake of Andhadhun are currently on and he will be directing the same with Prashanth in the lead soon. Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead was written and directed by Sriram Raghavan and was a critically acclaimed black comedy that took home two National awards recently. 

Actor Prashanth's father Thiyagarajan acquired the remake rights of the film amidst much competition and the film is expected to go on floors soon.
