Mission Mangal which hit the screens on August 15 has done fantastic performance at the Box Office at the end of its extended Week 1 (8 days). Akshay Kumar's film has been doing well both on weekends as well as weekdays at the domestic box office both at multiplexes and single screens. The film has earned Rs. 128.16 cr in its extended first week.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office numbers of the film on his social media page. He wrote, "#Mission Mangal records fantastic numbers in its *extended* Week 1... Outstanding weekend, solid weekdays [reduction in ticket rates]... Thu 29.16 cr, Fri 17.28 cr, Sat 23.58 cr, Sun 27.54 cr, Mon 8.91 cr, Tue 7.92 cr, Wed 6.84 cr, Thu 6.93 cr. Total: ₹ 128.16 cr. India biz."

The film fetched mostly positive reviews which has helped boost the film's collections to a great extent. At this pace, the film is expected to cross Rs. 200 cr mark and by doing so it will mark Akshay's first film to make an entry into the prestigious Rs. 200 cr club.
