Actress Rakul Preet Singh has joined the shooting of Indian 2 along with others in the cast and crew now. The actress confirmed the news posting a click of hers from the makeup room. While Kamal Haasan is already engaged as host of Bigg Boss Season 3 Tamil, it is not yet known whether he will be joining the sets immediately. It is evident that the weekend shoot (both Saturday and Sunday episodes) will happen on Saturday. Maybe, he might take a break for that particular day for next 7 weeks till the show is over. 

Directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 had its shoot commenced last year, but was stalled due to some reasons. Now, it is expected that the shooting will go on full swing and will be hitting screens on April 14, 2022.
