Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas' upcoming psychological thriller film Rakshasudu is set to hit the screens worldwide on August 2, 2019. The film will have USA premiere on August 1. It is releasing in 90 locations in the country. The list of theatres screening the film in USA has been released by Weekend Cinema US, which has acquired the distributions rights of the film there. 

Rakshasudu is a remake of Tamil film Ratchasan. The investigative thriller has Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. Directed by Ramesh Varma of Ride fame, the film features many actors from the original version. Ghibran has scored the music.
