The animated film Baahubali: The Eternal War has been officially selected for the Work in Progress category at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Helmed by Ishan Shukla, the project earns a place alongside globally acclaimed films like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, marking a major achievement for the team.

Prabhas, who returns as Amarendra Baahubali, welcomed the recognition and congratulated the team on the global platform. The film is written by Ishan Shukla and Sowmya Sharma, with screenplay by Scott Mosier and dialogues by Deva Katta and Madhan Karky.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Mediaworks, the film is currently in production and gaining global attention.
