Teaser of Dulquer's Period Horror Kaantha Released, Set for September 12

On Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday (July 28, 2025), the teaser of his upcoming film Kaantha was released. The teaser gives a glimpse into the story set in 1950s Madras, with a touch of mystery and horror.

Kaantha is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati, who also stars in the film. The cast includes Bhagyashri Borse and Samuthirakani.

The teaser begins with the announcement of the first Tamil horror film, titled Saantha. But in a surprise twist at the end, Dulquer reveals that the title has been changed to Kaantha, saying the audience will like it. He also confirmed the film will release on September 12, 2025.
