Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 declared tax-free in Gujarat and Delhi

Hrithik Roshan's latest outing Super 30 hit the screens worldwide on July 12. The film is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, best known for his Super 30 programme, which coaches underprivileged students for IIT-JEE. Following Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, Super 30 has now been declared tax-free in Gujarat and national capital New Delhi as well.  

 

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia made the announcement over Twitter on Wednesday. He tweeted, "Delhi Govt will be giving tax-free status to the movie ‘Super 30’, so that it can inspire students and teachers in Delhi" 

 

Hrithik Roshan has thanked both Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani  and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia for the gesture.

Mathematician Anand Kumar also thanked both the CMs on his Twitter page.

Hrithik Roshan's film which received mixed reviews from the critics and audience has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within 10 days of its release. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Sandhu and Amit Srivastava in pivotal roles.
