Karan Johar acquires remake rights of Vijay Devarakonda's film

Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna starrer Dear Comrade is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood. The film is set to hit the screens worldwide on July 26, 2019. The film has already generated a lot of buzz among the fans and audience. The latest update is that Karan Johar has acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film.

 

Karan Johar made the announcement on his Twitter page. Vijay Devarakonda has thanked Karan Johar for acquiring the rights and also expressed his desire to collaborate with the maverick director cum producer soon.

Vijay Devarakonda plays a student leader while Rashmika Mandanna plays a cricketer. Written and directed by newcomer Bharat Kamma, the film has music by Justin Prabhakaran. Dear Comrade produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Yash Rangineni under Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas will release on July 26 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
