Bellamkonda Sreenivas' Rakshasudu gets a new release date

The release of Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas' upcoming psychological thriller film Rakshasudu has been postponed. The film which was initially slated for release on July 18 will now be releasing on August 2, 2019. Sai Sreenivas shared a new poster from the film on his Twitter page announcing the new release date. Ram Pothineni's Ismart Shankar will gear up for a solo release on July 18 as Rakshasudu release has been pushed.

 

Rakshasudu is a remake of Tamil film Ratchasan. The investigative thriller has Sreenivas reprising Vishnu Vishal's role of a cop and Anupama Parameswaran stepping into the shoes of Amala Paul as the female lead. 

 

 Directed by Ramesh Varma of Ride fame, the film also stars Anupama ParameswaranRajeev Kanakala in pivotal roles. It also features many actors from the original version. Ghibran has scored the music.
