Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles hit the screens on June 21, 2019. The film has been doing spectacular business both at the domestic and overseas markets. Kabir Singh cruised past Rs. 100 mark in India on its fifth day making it Shahid Kapoor's first solo century film.

According to sources, the film has crossed $1 million mark at the North American Box Office (USA + Canada) on Wednesday. The film has received massive response from the overseas audience and due to heavy demand, more screens are being added in USA from Week 2. The film will release in 45 new locations in the country from June 28.

Kabir Singh is the official remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles directed by Sandeepa Vanga who has helmed the Hindi version as well.
