Sriram Raghavan's black-comedy Andhadhun has been the cynosure of K-Town film celebrities for a while now. Actor Siddharth was one of the first people to publicly express interest in remaking the crime thriller and ever since reports of him teaming with Trisha and Ramya Krishnan have unofficially surfaced.
However, in a recent tabloid interview actor Dhanush has revealed his plans of remaking Andhadhun in Tamil. His Wunderbar productions seems to have already initiated the works for acquiring the remake rights. "It’s a brilliant film and we have already started the process of acquiring the rights. It’s one of those thrillers which I wouldn’t mind remaking in Tamil.", said Dhanush.
Andhadhun originally starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead and was highly acclaimed for its unpredictable story-line and lead performances. Despite its open ending, director Sriram Raghavan has time and again reiterated that there will be no sequel to the film.
