The much-awaited Super 30 Trailer was launched yesterday by the makers. The trailer has received overwhelming response from the audience and is trending at the #1 spot on Youtube. The trailer has crossed 19 million views so far. Hrithik Roshan has won accolades for his portrayal of mathematician Anand Kumar.

The film is based on the real-life struggle of Patna-based math genius and founder of the Super 30 educational programme, Anand Kumar. Super 30 is an educational programme for training underprivileged students for IIT-JEE.  Super 30 also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles. It is set to hit the screens on July 12, 2019.

Vikas Bahl gets credit as Super 30 director

In the wake of #MeToo movement in 2018, Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment by an employee of Phantom Films. Following the accusations, Vikas Bahl’s name was pulled out from the credits of 'Super 30'. The director however has been reinstated as director of the film after getting a clean chit from the panel set up by Super 30 producers (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Phantom Films & Reliance Entertainment). 

Subhash Sarkar, CEO of Reliance Entertainment said, ’It’s true that ICC committee report has exonerated Vikas. With ICC clearing Vikas Bahl"s name we don't have a choice but to reinstate his credit as director of Super 30.”
