The official trailer of Abhishek Varman directed Kalank starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit is out now and it has given a very dramatic glimpse of the film admist a very starry affair.
From the looks of it, Alia Bhatt's character becomes the second wife of an already married Aditya Roy Kapur and falls in love with Varun Dhawan instead. Whether or love they end up together eventually is what forms the rest of the story.
Kalank is set in 1945 and paints a regal picture from its promotional content so far. The film written by Shibani Bathija is Dharma Productions' first period drama and is slated for a release on April 17, 2019.
