Kerala Police writes to CM protesting Lucifer Poster feat. Mohanlal

Mohanlal starrer Lucifer which hit theater screens on March 28, 2019 is currently inching towards a week's run at the box-office. The film has been praised by both critics and the audience and has been grossing considerable numbers in both Kerala and otherwise.

At this time, the Prithviraj Sukumaran directed film has encountered a road-block for the Kerala Police have taken objection to the portrayal of men in uniform in the promotional content of the film. The Kerala Police Association (KPA) were not happy with one of the recent posters where Mohanlal could be seen attacking actor John Vijay, who plays a top IPS official in the movie.

KPA felt that this sends a wrong message to the public about treating cops in general and have penned their protest against the same to Chief Minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan. A copy of the letter is also said to have been sent to the censor board (CBFC), demanding action against the bad portrayal of cops.
