The first look poster of Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak portraying her as Malti, a character inspired from acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal is out.

Deepika's disfigured look in the film is uncannily similar to the present life Laxmi Agarwal and the same has been pointed out by many including Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak marks Padukone's debut as a producer and has started filming today. The movie is slated to release on January 10, 2020 and will be meeting Ajay DevgN, Kajol starrer period drama Tanhaji:The Unsung Warrior at the box-office.
