Actor Ajith may have Pink remake (Thala 59) and one more project (Thala 60) lined up with H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor but news of his possible next project after these two films has already surfaced.

At a recent public event, director Venkat Prabhu who gave Ajith his landmark 50th film Mankatha confirmed that a project between the duo is definitely happening. He said, "..a movie with Thala (Ajith) is definitely on the cards and it will happen very soon,"

However the director was quick to add that this film may not be a sequel to their earlier movie purely because of the expectations that would come with it. Though he did not brush off the idea completely, Venkat Prabhu sure did register his apprehension over pursuing Mankatha 2.
