Viswasam starring Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead roles directed by Siva is all set to hit the screens for Pongal 2019. The film shooting has been wrapped and the post-production work of the film is happening in full swing. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Imman has scored the music. Director Siva in a recent interview to a leading Tamil magazine has revealed some interesting facts about the film.

Viswasam will be a complete family entertainer which will be a blend of both fun and emotions. The first half of the film is set in the backdrop of Theni while the second half takes place in Mumbai city. Ajith plays a single role as 'Thooku Durai' and has spoken in Madurai slang in the film. The film deals with the lives of people who are brave but innocent at heart.

Nayanthara plays a powerful role and her character name is 'Niranjana'. Thambi Ramiah plays Ajith's maternal uncle. The film has five songs. Every song in the album will be of a different style. There are two mass songs.
