Kadambur Raju issues a warning for Vijay' Sarkar!

Information and Publicity Minister of Tamil Nadu, Kadambur C. Raju has issued a warning for Vijay's film Sarkar which is currently on day 2 in theater screens. The minister has taken objection to a scene in the film, which showcases director A.R. Murugadoss throwing a government-provided mixer-grinder into a bon-fire burning up all the freebies provided by the state-government.

The scene that is part of the song Oruviral Puratchi is now the bone of contention and Kadambur Raju has said that the makers of the movie should remove the scenes themselves, else the government would be taking the required steps to have them removed.

It is worth mentioning here that it was during the Jayalalitha led AIADMK regime, that freebies such as table fans, mixer grinders, wet grinders, etc were provided to families in the state. It is also worth pointing that Sarkar is the second film of Vijay's (after Mersal), to face opposition from a political faction.
