Jyothika in another fierce role: To follow Suriya's foot-steps?

 

As reported earlier, Jyothika is teaming up with Dream Warrior Pictures for her next film and producer S.R. Prabhu had said at the time of announcement that this film will be a heroine-centric social drama which has been scripted by S.Raj. According to industry sources, the team of this is yet untitled movie which is due to be directed by debutant S. Raj, had conducted a photo-shoot recently.
 
Apparently, at this photo-shoot Jyothika was seen wearing a uniform representing the army and seen sporting a short hair-do (as short as a pixie), indicative of the role she would be seen playing in the movie.
 
If the said look was indeed for her main role in the film, then this will be the second time Jyothika would be seen in a fierce role post her police avatar in Bala's Naachiyaar.

Also, given that her husband actor is also playing a National Security Guard in his upcoming film with K.V. Anand, and has donned the army avatar in both Vaaranam Aayiram (2008) and Friends(2001), we couldn't help but notice that affinity for armed forced runs in the family.
