MovieCrow was the first to break the news of Jayam Ravi teaming up with a new face director for a film and the same has now been officially confirmed by the actor himself. Actor Jayam Ravi, who celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday surprised his fans by announcing his next project JR24 (tentative title) to be directed by debutant director Pradeep Ranganathan. The film will be bankrolled by Isiri Ganesh's Vels Film International. Jayam Ravi shared the news on his Twitter page.

As reported by us earlier, Kajal Agarwal will be playing the leading lady opposite Jayam Ravi in the film. The actor reportedly will be shedding around 20 kgs for his role in JR24.
Jayam Ravi is gearing up for the release of 'Adanga Maru' in which he is playing the role of a fiercy police officer. Recently Mohan Raja announced Thani Oruvan 2 with Jayam Ravi in the lead role. The film will be the sequel to Thani Oruvan, which released in 2015.
