Akshay Kumar who celebrated his 51st birthday yesterday surprised his fans by sharing a new poster from his upcoming film 2.0. Akshay is making his debut in the Tamil film industry with Rajinkanth's 2.0 directed by Shankar. The much waited teaser of the film is set to launched on September 13, 2018 on Vinayagar Chathuthi.

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth will be sharing screen space for the first time in 2.0. The movie is a sequel to Rajinkanthi's 2010 blockbuster Enthiran. 2.0 is also touted to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. Akshay who plays the antagonist would be seen portraying the role of a scientist Dr. Richard.
2.0 is produced by Lyca Productions and has music by AR Rahman. Amy Jackson plays the female lead. The film is set to hit the screens on November 29, 2018.
