We had reported only recently that director Shankar's film after 2.0, Indian 2 is most likely to begin shooting in December, 2018 and as a part of the pre-production work, the Indian 2 team is currently on a recce. Latest on this front is that Shankar was spotted in Prodattur, which is a city in the Kadappa district of Andhra Pradesh and an update from the place he is staying suggests that he is location-hunting here as well.

A production venture of Lyca Productions Indian 2 will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Ravi Varman, art by Muthuraj and lyrics by Thamarai. Actress Nayanthara will be seen playing the female lead in this movie, thus making her first collaboration with both the actor and director.
