Samantha is eagerly awaiting the release of not one, but two films on September 13. Tamil film Seema Raja where she plays the leading lady opposite Siva Karthikeyan and Tamil - Telugu bilingual U Turn are both slated for release on the same day. While it is Samantha vs Samantha on one hand, a clash of Samantha Vs Naga Chaitanya is also set to happen at the Box Office this Vinayaga Chathurthi.

Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film Shailaja Reddy Alludu is gearing up for release on September 13. The film which was earlier slated for release on 31st August has been postponed to this date due to delay in post production work.

Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel, Ramya Krishnan play the lead roles in the film written and directed by Dasari Maruthi. Sailaja Reddy Alludu, is bankrolled by the banner Sithara Entertainments. The film has Ramya Krishnan playing Shailaja Reddy and Naga Chaitanya her Alludu (son-in-law). 

Samantha upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual U Turn is a remake of 2016's Kannada hit film of the same name. Bankrolled by Srinivaasa Silver Screen, U Turn will see Samantha Akkineni playing an intern with a leading news-daily who sets on to uncover the truth behind mysterious deaths on a busy road. The film also starrs Narain of Anjathe, Mugamoodi fame, Aadi Pinisetty and Rahul Ravindran among others.
