The makers of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam have released a new poster from the film featuring Arun Vijay and Aishwarya Rajesh. Arun Vijay's character name is Thyagu while Aishwarya Rajesh plays Renu. The character poster of all the lead actors in the film have been released earlier individually. The film gears up for release in September. The film will release in Telugu as Nawab. 

The film boasts of an ensemble cast which includes Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwariya Rajesh and Dayana Erappa amongst others. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film has music by AR Rahman. CCV will be presented by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
