Kerala has been witnessing one of the worst floods in over 100 years. With rescue operations almost coming to an end in Kerala, the state government is now faced with the ominous task of restoring and repairing infrastructure that was destroyed in the floods and landslides. The massive flood in Kerala has been declared a calamity of severe nature by the Union Home ministry. 

Actors from across the country have contributed to the Kerala flood relief fund and have also urged their fans and others to contribute all that they can.  Actors from Tamil film industry including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Surya, Vikram, Vijay Sethupahi and many others have contributed to the relief fund.

Actors Kamal Haasan, Suriya-Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi contributed Rs 25 lakh each to the relief fund. Actor Rajinikanth and Dhanush donated Rs 15 lakh each and Vijay has given Rs 70 lakh for the flood victims. Here’s a list of the contributions made by Tamil actors for Kerala Relief Fund.
