The title of upcoming Telugu film featuring actors Nagarjuna Akkinenni and Nani, tentatively known as the Nag-Nani film has been revealed to be Devadas. Interestingly, the title seems to be an ode to Nagarjuna's father Akkineni Nageswara Rao's 1953 blockbuster film Devadasu. However, unlike Devadasu, which was a romantic flick, Devadas will be a comic entertainer and is directed by Sriram Adittya.
The film has Nagarjuna playing a gangster named Deva and Nani playing a doctor named Das. It also has Rashmika Mandanna and Akanksha Singh playing female leads while the movie is expected to hit theatre screens in September, 2018.
