Rohit Shetty's Simmba is set to go on floors on June 7 and will be shot in Hyderabad, Goa and Mumbai. A recent picature of Ranveer Singh sporting a moustache doing the rounds on social media indicates that the actor is all geared up for his upcoming film Simmba in which he plays a police officer for the first time. Reportedly Rohit Shetty wanted Ranveer to transform his physique to play the role of police officer and the actor has also been hitting the gym for his cop avatar. 

'Simmba' is an official remake of Jr NTR's 2015 Telugu hit film 'Temper'. Sara Ali Khan plays the female lead. Simmba will beproduced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
