Looks like the Sushanth Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming movie Kedarnath has gotten itself embroiled in another fix, for reports of director Abhishek Kapoor facing serious trouble with Sara Ali Khan's dates have started surfacing. Only yesterday, the internet was flooded with pictures of Sara Ali Khan and her father actor Saif Ali Khan making a quick stop at Kapoor's office had surfaced. While many believed it was an indication of the film being back on track after the controversy it endured with KriArj Entertainment, seems like it was Saif stepping in to make things easier for his daughter's debut project for the agency, which manages Sara's work had committed the dates till July to Kedarnath while also simultaneously signing her up for Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty's Simmba that begins filming in June, 2018.
While some reports suggest that the meeting between the father-daughter duo and director Abhishek Kapoor was an amicable one to come up with a solution, others indicate that Guy In The Sky Productions, which is Abhishek Kapoor's production house has moved the High Court to direct Sara Ali Khan to take care of her first commitment i.e. Kedarnath and then move on to Simmba. Reports suggest that the production house has also demanded Rs. 5 crore in damages on grounds that an actor cannot change the dates already given, while using them for another movie.
Kedarnath is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and is expected to hit theatre screens by November, 2018.
